The principal objective of this school is to introduce the state of the art in computer vision and robotics to final year engineering students, master and PhD students. Attending the Summer School on Image and Robotics, provides the opportunity to enjoy two weeks of academic, scientific achievement and promotes international goodwill.
Until now, 9 editions of the Summer School on Image and Robotics have taken place (Grenoble-France, Cuernavaca-Mexique, Toulouse-France, Puebla-Mexique, SophiaAntipolis-France, Guanajuato-Mexique, Montpellier-France, Mexico City, and Clermont-Ferrand-France). The participation in the school has been around 60 students on average for each edition. So far, 536 students have participated. They come from more than institutions, mainly from Europe (France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland) and Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela). A total of 80 professors have participated in the previous editions of this school.
